Morocco to meet investors and IOCs at the 2nd Morocco Oil & Gas Summit
The Moroccan National Office of Hydrocarbons and Mines (ONHYM) is meeting with potential and existing investors, including SDX Energy, Chariot Oil & Gas, Geoex, Enagas and ENI at the 2nd Morocco Oil & Gas Summit in 6th-7th February 2019. ONHYM plans to announce future plans regarding exploration and production following the recent hydrocarbon discoveries, and form new partnerships for midstream projects.
For the first time, companies will discuss Morocco's Atlantic offshore geology and the results recent exploration activities are showcasing, onshore exploration and unconventional hydrocarbons opportunities. They will cover all exploration challenges and opportunities in Morocco, including how E&P companies and contractors can make the most out of the current experienced low-cost service environment in Morocco.
Opportunities for independent Oil companies will be shared, including the great investment potential of shallow offshore fields for smaller exploration companies.
SDX Energy will discuss its recent discoveries, including its important discoveries in the LNB-1 and the ONZ-7 wells, which tapped Morocco's significant reserves. With more exploration and production projects on the way, the need for new partners is higher than ever.
